Pyrenees Barns The compulsion to make aesthetic50"x 60" This was shot in southern France. It is a stallion of the Merens breed of horse that is indigenous to the Pyrenees region of southern France. They are bred for riding and competition, but some also live wild in the Pyrenees mountains. They are pure black, muscular horses and the stallions typically have long manes with a slight reddish tint. This image captures the strength and spirit of this stallion.
