He was an accomplished etcher as well as watercolourist. Born in Letterkenny in 1875, he and his wife emigrated to London in 1932. Prior to that he exhibited a number of times with the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin. He produced a number of hand coloured, limited edition etchings of landscapes from around Ireland.
