with vibrant colors and original fold creases but does retain three small holes (near the top) and some moisture damage to the bottom corners with age

Model of 1860, and was used in the war between the sates on both sides. This beautiful example is un marked with no maker on the ricasso. Imported for use in the American civil war. Letters "AMAM" are etched into the base of the hand guard. One side of the scabbard has been painted black.
