Basic Life Support – Food Parcels

Lebanon & Makassed Need Your Support Join us in providing a monthly food security for needy Lebanese Families

Although only limited data is available, it is estimated that more than 25% of the Lebanese population lives on less than four US dollars a day.

Moreover, the disparity between the rich and the poor is great and is worsening due to the current economic situation. Many communities throughout the country are marginalized, living in poverty, under-served by public services such as water and electricity, and essentially ignored by the government.

Food shortage is a humanitarian crisis in Lebanon.

As part of its ongoing dedication to provide help to those in need, Makassed kicked off the year with distributions of food parcels to families affected by the current financial crisis.

A $35 food parcel feeds a family of 5 for one month.

Help provide underprivileged Lebanese families with their basic needs.
