Food support and education are separate
A food gift and a scholarship gift go to different causes, even when one family might need both.
A 35 dollar gift feeds a family of five for one month, or provides them with clothes and blankets.
Through the Scholarship Fund, MFA works with Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut to provide full or partial scholarships to needy students and to restore schools and classrooms.
