Food Parcels, Clothes, and Blankets
A $35 donation feeds a family of five for one month, or provides them with clothes and blankets.
Lebanon and Makassed need your support. Join us in providing monthly security for needy Lebanese families.
Although only limited data is available, it is estimated that more than 25% of the Lebanese population lives on less than four US dollars a day. The disparity between rich and poor is great and is worsening with the current economic situation. Many communities are marginalized, living in poverty, under-served by water and electricity, and essentially ignored by the government.
Food shortage is a humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. As part of its ongoing dedication to people in need, Makassed distributes food parcels, clothes, and blankets to families affected by the financial crisis.
