The zakat page estimates 2.5 percent of the wealth you include after debts you subtract. The page says this is an estimate to help you give, not a ruling, and that nisab and what counts as zakatable wealth differ by school.
On the gift form, a donor can mark a gift as zakat, sadaqah, or a general gift.
